LIGHT PAINTINGS

Using long exposures in total darkness, I made images and landscapes solely by moving light sources, returning photography to its primal core where light is medium, subject and gesture. The photographs become events—ephemeral traces of light that sculpt texture, form and contrast and probe the boundary between presence and void.
