COUNTRYSIDE
“I find a charm in driving aimlessly through the countryside. It is a paradoxical experience, for although the landscape shifts, it repeats itself constantly. Crossroads, groves, tractors and animals follow one another along the road, and after driving for a while I lose all sense of time and space. I pass farms and small villages with a growing feeling of freedom. On this journey the whole landscape becomes mine. Although I may never have been in a place before, I recognize it. I have experienced it before and soon I will see it again somewhere else.“
