LEBENSRAUM

I’ve always documented my life and it’s circumstances in some way, my surroundings, my home and my family. When I became a father for the first time the work became more focused, but it wasn’t until my second child that it evolved into a project and at the same time changed my orientation. I started to notice our surroundings and focused on the space in-between, the time bridging moments. what appeared in the corner of the presence. My grown up eyes begun to look through my child’s eyes and the pictures started to shift from obvious to subtle. Understandably this project is ever growing, and prone to shifting of focus, subject and purpose. Still I take pleasure in letting this organic body of work evolve and revaluate it frequently, and today it spans over two decades of time and countless amounts of pictures. It might evolve both backward and forward in time, eventually bridging my whole life…
